23 Things-The First Thing

I'm really excited to learn about Web 2.0. I have heard about Wikis, Podcasts, etc., but I never take the time to actually learn about what they are, how to access them, and ideas for integrating them into my classroom. This online class is forcing me into learning about them. It scares me when I hear my fourth graders talk about blogs, texting, and their iPods. I think that unless I "get onboard" with Web 2.0 and learn how to use it, I'm going to become a "dinosaur" in my classroom that can't engage my students.
